Step into the world of artisanal soap crafting with a Goat Milk Soap Making Workshop from Herd and Hive. Participants will learn the delicate process of creating rich, moisturising soaps that are as nourishing as they are beautiful. Under the expert guidance of Libby from Herd and Hive you will learn about the benefits of goats milk soap. This workshop includes a practical demonstration and a comprehensive talk-through of the soap-making process, leading to a creative session where participants can make approximately 6-8 bars of soap.
What to expect:
Participants will watch and learn as Libby guides them through making Goat Milk Soap from scratch.
After the demonstration, attendees will get creative, choosing from various scents and decorations to personalise their bars.
Everyone will craft perfect handmade gifts, made with love, care, and a personal touch.
Please Note:
Curing Time: The soaps crafted during the workshop will need 2-3 weeks to cure. This crucial step ensures the soap is properly set, hardened, and ready for use or gifting.

The Goats Milk Soap Making Workshop in West Yorkshire is run by Herd and Hive in Silsden, West Yorkshire. Herd and Hive is owned by Libby and Ollie, who manage the farm, caring for the animals as well as producing handcrafted soaps and honey products. In addition they also run a series of soap making workshops and beekeeping courses.

Most of the courses are approximately 1.5 hours long.
