Hosted in the Cookery School at the heart of the estate, this exclusive Saturday lunchtime experience celebrates the very best ingredients – grown, reared and foraged across Swinton Estate, Yorkshire and the North East. Expect seasonal creativity, estate-reared meats, freshly picked produce and wild-foraged flavours, all transformed into dishes that showcase Yorkshire’s rich food heritage.

What will I get? You will receive a voucher to book a place on a future Chef’s Table Lunch Experience at Swinton Estate.

Anything I should know?

  • Unfortunately, children under the age of 16 are not permitted to dine at Chef’s Table by Josh Barnes.
  • Advanced booking is essential.
  • The dining element of this voucher is only valid for the standard, 5 course tasting menu, any special events or key dates where a special menu is being offered, supplements will apply.
  • Chef’s Table by Josh Barnes is pleased to offer a vegetarian and vegan tasting menu alongside the regular tasting menu. Certain other dietary requirements can be catered for at the discretion of the Chef, with prior notice. Although dietary requirements can be catered for, it cannot be guaranteed to be completely allergen free as allergens may well be present in the kitchen.

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.

Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.

How will it arrive? Our eco-friendly voucher boxes are available for £4.50 and will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. PDF e-vouchers are FREE and emailed shortly after ordering.

Spread across a breathtaking 20,000 acres of North Yorkshire countryside, Swinton Estate is one of the largest privately owned estates in England. It has been cared for by the Cunliffe-Lister family since the 1880s, and today it remains a place where heritage, conservation and hospitality come together beautifully.

Just outside the charming market town of Masham, the estate stretches from the River Ure through the Nidderdale National Landscape to the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It’s a working rural estate too, with rolling farmland, thriving forestry and vast open moorland – all carefully managed to protect biodiversity and restore natural habitats.
