About Uniquely Local - why choose us?
Uniquely Local is run by myself, Rachel, with a lot of help from fantastic freelancers and other Yorkshire businesses who work together to bring you a range of thoughtful, inspired experiences.
I set the business up with my friend, Ema, in 2016 as a way of bringing together all the brilliant businesses offering experiences in Yorkshire that weren't getting the exposure they deserved. We wanted to create a marketplace of handpicked experiences that we would be happy to give or receive ourselves.
The business has always been about creating connections with independent local businesses, promoting Yorkshire and offering excellent customer service.
