This family gift experience is a must for any animal loving friends and family. Take two of these super-soft and curious alpacas for a gentle stroll in the stunning Hambleton Hills of North Yorkshire.
Your Alpaca walk experience will include meeting the alpacas, a brief chat about alpacas and how to look after your alpacas before taking them on the walk which will cover approximately 1.5 miles along footpaths and grass fields.
Please note: children must be 8 years and over.
The alpaca walk is also offered as a ‘Couples Alpaca Experience’ where 2 adults share 1 alpaca.

The Alpaca Walk experience will take 1.5 hours
All of our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against any of our listed experiences. The recipient may exchange their voucher if they don't like the experience they have been bought. Just see our FAQs for details.
Children must be 8 years old or over. Participants must be able to walk over a mile on fields and footpaths.
Physical activity:
The farm is on a gentle slope and we walk over grassy tracks and paths. The pace is quite slow, as alpacas like to look round and take in their surroundings. The walks are not suitable for people with walking difficulties or young children. However, farm visits can be arranged by appointment.
Clothing and Equipment:
Waterproof footwear with closed toes is advisable and gloves and scarves on cold days are a must. You are walking in the countryside and the grass may be wet, and some areas can be muddy.
Weather:
We walk if it is drizzling or light rain but not if it's pouring with rain; on some days we can postpone your walk for a short while, or we can rearrange your walk for another date. Please call for advice before you leave if the weather is bad.
The Alpaca Walk experience for two adults with up to 2 children will cost £81 and £93 for 2 adults and up to 4 children.
To have a boxed and gift wrapped voucher sent by post will cost an additional £4.50.
