£460.00 FOR UP TO 7 PEOPLE
A group canoe adventure for 7 people along the Ouse
“There is nothing- absolutely nothing- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.”
This group experience in Canadian canoes from Ripon to Boroughbridge follows the picturesque river Ure in Yorkshire. Your adventure starts at Boroughbridge where you will meet your qualified canoe guides. You’ll be transported by private minibus to Ripon and given a safety brief before jumping into your Canadian canoe and the adventure really begins!
You’ll paddle to Boroughbridge, stopping on route for an alfresco lunch (bring a picnic) at the scenic West Wick Lock. There is also the optional stop at Newby Hall and Gardens if you fancy a nosey round or an ice cream (there is an additional cost to enter the grounds which is payable to Newby Hall).
The Canadian canoes are perfect for this type of adventure as they are spacious with plenty of storage space for refreshments and additional clothing. You will be provided with a paddle, buoyancy aid and a waterproof bag to keep keys or valuable items safe.
Your qualified guide will give you top tips throughout your trip to make the experience a more enjoyable one. This experience is a great day out for families, friends, stag and hen parties and team building days. It’s suitable for all abilities from ages 7 upwards.
