What to expect on a 3 hour cooking experience
The half day classes will give you the opportunity to create one dish from the menu, and enjoy a demonstration of an additional dish by the chef tutor before sitting down to enjoy them both with a glass of wine or soft drink.

The Half Day Cookery Course Gift Experience takes place at the purpose built Cookery School based in the The Grand, York – one of Britain’s premier five star hotels.
Led by Director, Marc Williams, the Cookery School, which opened its state of the art kitchens in 2019, is designed for novice and aspiring chefs, with classes inspired by cuisine from around the world.
Half day classes include Artisan Bread making, Sushi Making, Yorkshire Game Masterclasses and many more!
Full day cookery course vouchers are also available.
The experience will take place at the purpose built cookery school in The Grand hotel York.
The half day cookery class experiences last 3 hours.
All of our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against any of our listed experiences. The recipient may exchange their voucher if they don't like the experience they have been bought. Just see our FAQs for details.
The three hour cookery workshops give you the opportunity to create one dish from the menu, and enjoy a demonstration of an additional dish by the chef tutor before sitting down to enjoy them both with a glass of wine or soft drink.
Those aged 14-17 can attend any class as long as a parent is present and attending the class too.
