A wonderful experience for wildlife photography enthusiasts. Spend the day at the beautifully landscaped Chester Zoo, learning how to get the best photographs of magnificent animals such as Elephants, Orangutans, Tigers, Rhinos and much more!
This five hour wildlife photography experience is suitable for beginners and keen hobbyists interested in wildlife. You will be in a small group to ensure you get the help and personal tuition you need.
Your tutor and guide for the day, Rachel Sinclair, will cover the main settings and techniques to use for wildlife including Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO and Composition.
You will go home with a memory card full of amazing photos and Rachel’s “quick cards” ensuring you will always have Rachel’s handy hints and tips close at hand.

The Wildlife Photography Experience at Chester Zoo is run by Rachel Sinclair of Safari Sinclair Photography Workshops.
Rachel has been photographing animals for over 10 years and also teaching people photography. She genuinely gets joy from seeing a student’s face light up when they understand how to use their apertures and shutter speeds!
I don’t think there is a greater hobby anyone can have, especially wildlife photography where you really get to see nature!
Rachel also runs a Wildlife Photography Workshop at Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Rachel is the highest google rated photography tutor in Sheffield and has led photo safaris in Africa.
The wildlife photography workshop will take place at Chester Zoo.
This is a 5 hour workshop starting at 10am and finishing at 3pm.
All of our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against any of our listed experiences. The recipient may exchange their voucher if they don't like the experience they have been bought. Just see our FAQs for details.
Under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult. 1 year to redeem voucher. No exchanges but if the buyer has to cancel (before 48 hours) for unforeseen circumstances they may book on the next available date. If the weather is very bad, the experience may be cancelled. Participants can choose the next available date that suits them.
Please note this experience is not run by Chester Zoo and does not give access to any VIP areas, you will be amongst other visitors at the zoo on the day.
The Wildlife Photography Workshop costs £150 per person including all tuition and Chester zoo entrance fee.
