This photography experience is a great way to explore the sights of Bar walls and York Minster, learning a bit of local history along the way, and improve your photography skills with an experienced photography teacher.

Any kind of camera is suitable for the photo walk whether it is a DSLR, Point and shoot, mobile or tablet camera.

What to expect:

The photo walk will start at York Minster with a 360 walk around taking in the stunning architecture of the Minster. From there it is a walk down to the bar walls at Bootham and up on to the walls giving wonderful views of the city. Leaving the walls at Monkbar where the photo walk will finish.

What you need to know

What will I get? You will receive a voucher to redeem against any of the future Bar Walls and Minster One Hour Photo Walk.

Anything I should know?

Under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

The walk takes approximately 1 hour

Walks take place every Tuesday at 1.00pm.

Walks are restricted to small groups. Family groups are welcome.

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.

Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.

How will it arrive? Our eco-friendly voucher boxes are available for £4.50 and will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. PDF e-vouchers are FREE and emailed shortly after ordering.
