Hop aboard the Cessna 172 Skyhawk simulator and experience the thrill and fun of flying one of the most successful aircraft in history.
On arrival you’ll be offered complimentary Tea / Coffee and given a full briefing on how to get the most out of your flight, taking you through the controls and instrumentation on the aircraft before starting the session.
When you’re ready you’ll enter the aircraft with its full size fuselage and a fully functioning cockpit. You can take the aircraft wherever you fancy there is a choice of global airports and different weather & times of year along with the thrill of day & night flying.

Don’t worry, you’ll be in the safe hands of the Yorkshire Flight Simulator staff for your Cessna 172 Skyhawk Flight Simulator Experience. The company has been safely operating simulator flights for a number of years from their premises near Wakefield. As well as housing the F16 Falcon and Cessna 172 Skyhawk simulators you’ll find a cosy briefing room and a warm welcome.

The flight simulator is based in Castleford near Leeds & Wakefield.
Flights are available for 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes and 2 hours. Please allow an extra 30 minutes for a pre-flight briefing.
All of our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against any of our listed experiences. The recipient may exchange their voucher if they don't like the experience they have been bought. Just see our FAQs for details.
Minimum age for flights is 11 years. This activity is not suitable for those suffering from epilepsy.
The Cessna 172 Skyhawk Flight Simulator Experience costs vary depending on how long the flight is. A 30 minute flight will cost £45, a 60 minute flight will cost £69, a 90 minute flight will cost £100 and a 2 hour flight will cost £120.
