Spend the day on a photography experience in York with mum for Mother's dayMother’s Day Gifts

Treat Mum this Mother’s Day with our fabulous range of mother’s day gifts. Specialising in handpicked, thoughtful gifts to suit all budgets, we have the largest selection of Yorkshire gift experiences. All hosted by independent businesses, artists and makers across the region.

Why not treat your mum to a local experience like Holly our marketing specialist did? They spent a wonderful morning with Paula from York Photo Walks learning how to take the best photos with their own cameras and phones. You can find out more about the experience in Holly’s review.

If Mum loves afternoon teas then she’s in for an absolute treat. She can choose to enjoy afternoon tea in a stately home, with or without fizz, served in a vineyard or with fish and chips on the Yorkshire coast.

Is Mum a gin lover and let’s be honest—who isn’t?! Send her to gin school, where she can craft her very own bespoke blend, or let her indulge in a gin tasting experience, with plenty of options to explore.

Creative Mums will love our range of art and crafts experiences across Yorkshire. These include pottery classes, fused glass workshops, soap making, art classes and much more.

If choosing the perfect experience feels like an impossible task why not make life easy with a Uniquely Local gift voucher? With 12 months to redeem, Mum can pick her ideal experience at her own pace. She can even split the voucher across multiple experiences or go all-in on one unforgettable memory-making day.

Making Time for Mum on Mother's Day

Ask any mum what she would like most in the world for Mother's day and I would bet that time for herself would feature high on the agenda. And that's the bloomin' beauty of giving her an experience for Mother's Day - not only does she get her craved for time alone but she can also do something entirely lovely and have some wonderful treat time for herself. Cookery queens can lose themselves in an afternoon of creative cookery, crafty peeps can choose from a load of lovely craft courses and Mums just after a bit of pampering can indulge in an hour or two dedicated to health and well being.
