This chocolate masterclass is the perfect gift for all chocolate lovers. You will discover the basics of chocolate making from working with the raw ingredients to making a ganache and professionally tempering the chocolate to create approximately 300g of tasty chocolate delights. This experience would be fantastic for any budding chocolatiers.

Introduction to Chocolate Making at York Cocoa Works
This exciting Introduction to Chocolate Making is hosted by York Cocoa Works. Located in York, a city with a rich chocolate making heritage, York Cocoa Works sits opposite the very site in Castlegate where Henry Isaac Rowntree started his own chocolate business over 170 years ago.
Making fair trade and sustainable chocolate is at the heart of the York Cocoa House ethos and they want to share their love of chocolate and it’s diverse history with you in a range of chocolate making experiences, activites and workshops.
The experience will take place at the chocolate academy of York Cocoa Works in York city centre.
The Introduction to Chocolate Making Experience lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.
All of our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against any of our listed experiences. The recipient may exchange their voucher if they don't like the experience they have been bought. Just see our FAQs for details.
