With expert help you’ll be using mini stills and real botanicals to create your own unique blend which you’ll take away to enjoy at your leisure.
Based in the heart of Sheffield, in a grade 2* listed building opened in 1879 and once the home of stainless steel, you’ll meet the team behind and find out all about their continued commitment to keeping every element of production ‘in-house’ and how they always aspire to be the best.

What you can expect on a Gin Making Experience:
- A selection of gin and tonics
- An intimate guided tour of the whole distillery
- The outlined history of Locksley Distilling’s creation and development tying in with their on-going ethos and aspiration
- An expert guided tasting session where you’ll learn the origin story and botanical choice behind all of the products that are created at the distillery
- A fantastic time at Gin School where you will have over 100 botanicals at your disposal to create your own unique recipe that you will distil into a full 70cl bottle of gin for you to take away and show off to the world!

The Make Your Own Gin Experience in Sheffield takes place at Locksley Distilling Co. Ltd which was started by John Cherry in his parents attic in 2013. Since those humble beginnings the distillery has grown into a team of seven, operating from a grade 2* listed building at Portland Works in the heart of Sheffield.

Locksley Distilling Gin Making Experiences are approximately 2.5 hours.
All of our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against any of our listed experiences. The recipient may exchange their voucher if they don't like the experience they have been bought. Just see our FAQs for details.
The Gin Making Experience takes place on:
Saturdays – 2.30pm – 5pm
Sundays – 2:30pm – 5pm
Due to the grade 2* listed status of the premises, including a flight of well-worn protected steps, unfortunately the premises is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Locksley Distilling Gin Making Experiences cost £95 per person including gin tasting and your very own 70cl bottle of gin.

Vouchers are valid for one year from date of payment.
Our eco-friendly voucher boxes are available for £4.50 and will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. PDF e-vouchers are FREE and emailed shortly after ordering.
