The One Day Blacksmithing Course is led by blacksmith artist David Stephenson at his forge in Lockton in the North York Moors national park. David makes a range of functional and sculptural items using traditional hand forging techniques. He often applies these to contemporary designs, producing work which is both beautiful to handle and which reflects its origins in fire.
David takes individuals or pairs of students. Keeping numbers small enables courses to be tailored to individual interests and skill levels.
