Learn the basics of blacksmithing with artist Piers Edsall at the Environmental Art Workshop in Malton. Choose from a two hour (taster course) or a half day (4 hour session). The experience is also available as a full day (8 hour session including lunch).

Each course will introduce participants to the basic techniques of hot metalworking and Piers will assist them to create a unique item of their very own to take home with them.

Working with a zero carbon induction forge, using renewable energy you will learn traditional techniques with a company that puts sustainability at the heart of their business.

What you need to know

What will I get? You will receive a voucher to redeem against any of the future Blacksmith Workshop with Zero Carbon Induction Forge.

Anything I should know?

Minimum age of participants is 16. Maximum of 2 people in a group.

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.

Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.

How will it arrive? Our eco-friendly voucher boxes are available for £4.50 and will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. PDF e-vouchers are FREE and emailed shortly after ordering.
