Permanent jewellery, sometimes known as welded jewellery, is custom-fitted directly to the wearer and delicately welded together without a traditional clasp. The result is a seamless bracelet that is designed to stay in place until its owner decides to remove it.

Each appointment begins with choosing the perfect chain from an extensive collection of more than 50 styles. With plenty of choice, each piece can be matched to the recipient’s individual style, whether they prefer something beautifully understated or a little more eye-catching.

Once the chain has been chosen, it is carefully measured for a comfortable custom fit before being expertly welded into place. Charms and connectors can also be added (for an additional cost, payable at the appointment) for an extra personal touch, creating jewellery that can represent a friendship, relationship, milestone or simply something worth celebrating.

It makes an especially lovely experience to share. Best friends can choose matching bracelets, family members can mark a special occasion together, brides can treat their bridesmaids or someone can simply enjoy a rather fabulous bit of self-gifting.

Made using quality, water-resistant and tarnish-resistant materials, each finished piece is designed for effortless everyday wear. All chains include a mix of 925 sterling silver and 14k Gold filled chains.  Detailed aftercare advice is also provided so it can continue looking its best.

  • Does it hurt?
    Not at all! The process is completely safe and painless. There is no contact between the skin and the welding equipment at any stage and goggles are provided for eye protection.
  • Can I remove it?
    Yes! While your piece is designed to be permanent, it can be easily removed if needed. Simply cut it at the welded point using nail clippers or wire cutters. It can be secured with a clasp on if you’d like to make it removable.
  • What is the age limit for welded jewellery?
    All ages are welcome to enjoy welded jewellery at LinQed.
    Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and please consider any school or club guidelines around jewellery before purchasing. Lisa also offers custom-fit pieces with clasps for children, so they can enjoy the experience while still being able to remove their jewellery when needed.

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.

Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.

How will it arrive? Our eco-friendly voucher boxes are available for £4.50 and will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. PDF e-vouchers are FREE and emailed shortly after ordering.

LinQed by Lisa was created from a deeply personal story of love, loss and connection.

Following the sudden loss of her brother, Cal, in 2022, Lisa discovered how meaningful jewellery could become. It offered a quiet way for her family to remember him, start conversations and keep a sense of connection close.

When Lisa began looking for jewellery of her own, however, she struggled to find pieces that felt right. Many of the designs she came across felt traditional or mass-produced, rather than modern, personal and timeless. So, she decided to learn how to make something herself.

Lisa from LinQed by LisaJewellery classes, online courses and countless hours of tutorials followed, before Lisa discovered permanent jewellery and had something of an “aha” moment. She immediately saw the potential to create beautiful, contemporary pieces that could represent a person, relationship, milestone or memory in a wonderfully personal way.

Today, LinQed by Lisa combines jewellery making with meaningful shared experiences. From her cosy home studio in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, Lisa has created a calm and welcoming space where guests can take a hands-on role in designing jewellery that reflects their own story and style.

Whether celebrating a friendship, marking a milestone or creating something with a deeper personal significance, Lisa makes the whole experience relaxed, thoughtful and completely individual. What began as a way to create something meaningful for her own family has grown into a business that allows her to help others celebrate connection in all its forms.
