Spend a day with Amy and friends creating your own bespoke silver ring from start to finish. No experience is necessary for this fun four hour experience. Amy will expertly guide you through sizing, cutting, shaping, soldering and polishing your own sterling silver ring finishing the day with a beautiful piece of jewellery to take home.

The workshop is an open plan, communal space so you will be learning a craft right in the heart of a working environment. You will be taught on the central teaching benches. The space is right in the centre of Leeds, and easily accessible by public transport with a car park situated close by.

Amy StringerThe Make a Silver Ring in a Day Workshop in Leeds is hosted by contemporary designer and maker Amy Stringer. Amy completed a BA (Hons) in Jewellery and Metalwork at Sheffield Hallam university and was inspired by the city’s modern, industrial architecture and open green spaces.

Amy was shortlisted for New Designer’s ‘Designer of the Year’ award and was invited to exhibit at Art & and Lustre under their graduate scheme. Amy’s graduate collection was also awarded a Bright Young Gems highly commended award by International Jewellery London.

Amy runs a range of silver jewellery courses including Sand Cast a Silver Pendent Workshop  and Make a Silver Bangle Jewellery Workshop in Leeds.

What you need to know

What will I get? You will receive a voucher to redeem against any of the future Make a Silver Ring in a Day Workshop in Leeds.

Anything I should know?

Unfortunately the workshop is currently only accessible via 4 steps, and bathroom accesses is only on the second floor. Workshops are suitable for aged 16+

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.

Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.
