Our Vegan Food Tour of Harrogate takes you on a culinary and cultural discovery around this elegant Spa town, seeking out places to eat delicious vegan food and savour vegan beer. You will spend the afternoon strolling round the cultural centre of Harrogate, with five stops at our thriving independent food and drink establishments to taste some delicious local, vegan Yorkshire Fare.
You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide and you will hear the story of the food and the businesses and learn all about the history of Harrogate, offering you a real insight into the life in one of the UK’s happiest places to live.
The food is carefully chosen to provide you with a long progressive late lunch/early dinner which will leave you feeling more than satisfied. Alcohol is included for 18+ but non-alcoholic alternatives are available.

Vegan Food Tour of Harrogate
The Vegan Food Tour of Harrogate is hosted by Kay Atkinson and her company Yorkshire Appetite.
Kay loves nothing more than wandering around a new place soaking up the sounds and smells, finding out about history and culture and getting a feel for a place and finally, trying local foods and drinks. Hence her reason for starting Yorkshire Appetite.
Kay wanted to take visitors on a journey around Harrogate’s cultural quarter with the aim of finding out about the key historical and cultural sites and enjoying what all visitors to Yorkshire enjoy – food and drink! Harrogate is lucky to have a bustling independent food and drink industry and Yorkshire Appetite want you to be able to savour a selection of tasty foods and good drinks on their cultural food tours.

This is a 2.5 hour experience. Public Tours runs once a month on a Saturday at 3.30 pm for 2 ½ hours.
All of our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against any of our listed experiences. The recipient may exchange their voucher if they don't like the experience they have been bought. Just see our FAQs for details.
The tours are held rain, shine, or snow. In the event of inclement weather, you will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour.
For anyone with a dietary restriction – vegetarian, gluten free, allergy etc. a suitable alternative can be arranged with plenty of advance notice.
