This hands-on beginners’ climbing course in Harrogate is designed for adults aged 16 and over who want to gain confidence on the wall and learn the essential skills to climb independently. Over two immersive three-hour sessions, participants will be guided by experienced instructors through every aspect of top rope climbing — from equipment setup and knot tying to belaying and technique.

Whether completely new to climbing or looking to refresh existing knowledge, this structured course offers the perfect foundation for a lifetime of safe and rewarding adventures. By the end, climbers will be ready to tackle bottom rope routes with confidence and skill.
