The Instinctive Archery Family Gift Experience at Wild Harvest in York is a fantastic gift choice for a fun loving family.

Participants will enjoy exclusive use of a natural instinctive archery kit, including wooden full-sized recurve bows, leather gloves, arm guards, straw targets, and rubber animal targets for an authentic archery experience.

Guided by one of four Archery GB-trained tutors, guests will learn key archery techniques, including how to stand, hold the bow, load arrows, and draw, aim, and shoot. The session is divided into three engaging rounds:

Introduction Round: Learn the fundamentals.
Improvement Round: Hone your aim with expert tips.
Competition Round: Compete in a fun and friendly challenge.

Each participant will receive a portrait photo of themselves at full draw, and a group photo will be taken to commemorate the experience. These memories will be emailed after the session.

The experience is suitable for all ages and abilities, ensuring that everyone feels included and enjoys the session. After the archery activities, guests can relax and unwind at the tipi site, choosing between picnic benches overlooking the fields or the cosy covered fire circle.

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.

Anything I should know? The archery session can take place from Sunday afternoon to Friday morning.

Di’s background is as diverse as it is impressive: she’s a qualified Adult Education tutor, Permaculture Designer, Natural Beekeeper, Survival Medic, and Archery GB Instructor. She’s even a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do and a Member of the Association of Foragers! Di’s passion for teaching others how to live more in tune with nature is at the heart of every course she runs, from wild food foraging to sustainable crafts.
