One for all the chocolate lovers, this is a hands on chocolate making workshop for two people. You will be carefully guided by Kala throughout the course and learn a range of techniques and skills.
What to expect :
- Brief introduction on the types of chocolate;
- Ideas on preparing fresh ganache with fresh fruits, nut, spices and herbs;
- Tempering of chocolate;
- Moulding chocolate using polycarbonate mould.
- Ways to decorate your moulds.
- Piping and rolling truffles
- Unmoulding and packaging chocolate.
You’ll be amazed what you can produce in a short period of time. All the lovely chocolates you make you will get to take home on the day – a perfect way to make personal, hand-made gifts for all occasions!

The Luxury Chocolate Making Workshop in Yorkshire is offered by chocolatier Kala King. Kala’s passion for chocolate started in Venezuela with a visit to a cocoa plantation. Since then she has trained with some well known names in the world of chocolate and wants to share her passion and skill with the people in her workshops. Her vision is for you to simply enjoy food at its best.
All my classes are very hands on, it’s not a demonstration and you’ll be amazed what you can create to take home!

The workshop takes place at Kala's beautiful home in Alne, North Yorkshire. Suggestions for overnight accommodation nearby can be provided on request.
The workshop runs from 9.30 until 1.30.
