This raft building adventure offers the perfect blend of teamwork, creativity, and excitement, suitable for participants of all ages (10+) and abilities. Ideal for corporate teams seeking a unique bonding activity, families or groups celebrating occasions like stag and hen parties, it’s a memorable day out with plenty of laughter and friendly competition.
Armed with barrels, logs, and ropes, each team is challenged to design and construct a raft sturdy enough to sail across the picturesque lake. With time ticking, participants must strategise, collaborate, and put their plan into action to build a raft that can navigate the course. The thrill ramps up as teams paddle their creations around buoys, racing to be the first to reach the other side and claim bragging rights!
All necessary gear and safety equipment are provided, and experienced instructors are on hand to ensure both safety and fun from start to (hopefully dry) finish. This unforgettable adventure is designed to bring people together for a day filled with challenges, laughter, and shared memories.

They provide exciting opportunities to get outdoors and enjoy a huge variety of activities at two locations in Yorkshire: Hazlewood Castle near York and Leeds and Ripley Castle near Harrogate.
Marc, Dan and Geoff run the company and between them have created a whole range of amazing, fun challenging and unusual activities. Each one of them has a huge lust for life and doing things differently. They test your boundaries whilst having 100% fun at the same time.

We offer a range of activities from the team at Live for Today. These include high-ropes courses, axe throwing and quad biking. These activities make excellent choices for corporate days, stag and hen parties, grown up times and children’s fun.
The experience takes place in the stunning grounds of Ripley Castle, Ripley Castle, Harrogate. HG3 3AY. Accessible from Harrogate and Leeds.
The length of this session is approximately 3 hours.

Adults are aged 16+.
Please not that this experience runs in open water between May and October.
The cost for the private group canoeing session is £50 per person for a minimum group size of 4 people.
