This is a unique experience perfect for a super sleuth or crime enthusiast with an interest in the world of Forensics or CSI. The experience is hosted by experts including CSI’s, forensic scientists, crash investigators, senior investigating officers and major crime detectives who are waiting to put participants through their paces.
The CSI Experience starts with a hands on introduction into the basics of forensic science following which participants are briefed on the crime of the day. Be it murder, kidnap – it’s up to you to find out what’s happened and solve the crime. Using real life techniques you will examine evidence including:
- Developing & Lifting Fingerprints
- Casting & Lifting Footwear Marks Electronically
- Photographing Scenes
- Gathering Evidence
- Interviewing Witnesses
- Communicating with Radios
For the second part of your day you can choose to focus on ‘Digging Deeper into Forensics’, a three-hour session for adults exploring the evidence behind a high-profile famous crime. In this session you will learn about forensic entomology and toxicology, DNA analysis and have a go at reading blood spatter patterns and the science behind them. Alternatively you could choose to focus on ballistics and weapons in a ‘in The Firing Line’ session or ‘The Art of Faking It’ which delves into the complex world of art fraud.

The Ultimate Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) Experience Day is run by ‘Think Forensic’ in Skelmanthorpe near Huddersfield. Think Forensic’s workshops are facilitated by experts from crime investigation backgrounds, who are able to recount appropriate experiences as required, ensuring you are not left with unanswered questions.
The Ultimate CSI Experience takes place at Think Forensic's Crime Centre in Skelmanthorpe near Huddersfield.
The experience takes approximately 7 hours.

This is an experience for adults. However, people over the age of 14 years are welcomed providing they are mature enough to cope with content which is based around true crimes and the team's experiences in the field.
