Join Alison in her home studio, in the beautiful Holme Valley and learn how to make your own stunning Roman Blinds.

Whether you are a beginner, or have some sewing experience, this workshop is designed for you.

This is a one-day roman blind workshop in which you will learn how to measure for and make a hand finished, lined and interlined roman blind to a professional standard. You will look at suitable fabrics, different types of lining and trims and discuss Child Safety regulations.

You will make a complete, sample sized Roman Blind which you can refer back to when working on your own Roman Blinds at home.

Includes:

  • Morning refreshments
  • Afternoon Tea/Coffee and cake
  • Comprehensive set of instructions
  • All fabric and equipment provided.

Sewing machines and other equipment are provided, however if you would prefer to bring your own please do (it’s always easier using your own, familiar machine).

The aim of the day is to have fun, learn a new skill and make something beautiful for your home.

Although some sewing experience would be helpful this workshop is suitable for beginners. The maximum group size will be 4 people. This workshop is not suitable for under 16s.

You will need to bring a packed lunch.

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.

Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.
