An experience gift for the foodie in your life! Spend a fascinating few hours with your local food guide in Leeds, and discover the best independent pubs, restaurants and food sellers. You’ll hear the unique stories behind the venues that you’ll visit and all about the local ingredients used in the dishes you’ll taste.

The tour takes approximately 4 hours (but please allow 5 in case the group is a chatty one!) and will include stops at 7 independent eateries, all with a focus on venues using local sourced ingredients. Venues will include a mixture of pubs, restaurants and market stalls.

Food at all 7 stops is included within the voucher costs.

In addition to eating delicious food, guests will learn some interesting facts about the venues visited – where ingredients are sourced from and the history of food in Leeds and Yorkshire (e.g. popular foods throughout history, dishes that were invented in the area and important market places).

What you need to know

What will I get? You will receive a voucher to redeem against any of the future Leeds Food Tours – 7 Stop Guided Food Tour & Tasting.

Anything I should know?

The tour includes approximately 1 mile of gentle city centre walking.
There are no steps to enter the venues but in some places steps are required to access toilet facilities.
Allergies and dietary requirements can be accommodate and should be made known on booking or at least 48 hours in advance of food tour.
The tours take place on most Saturdays throughout the year.
They start at 11.45am and take approximately 4 hours.
If you are booking as a group you can request an alternative date and time subject to availability.

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.

Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.

How will it arrive? Our eco-friendly voucher boxes are available for £4.50 and will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. PDF e-vouchers are FREE and emailed shortly after ordering.

The Leeds Food Tours are hosted by Nell who is a dedicated foodie and food blogger. She is passionate about supporting small, independent eateries and Leeds food suppliers and will introduce her guests to the business owners and food suppliers who make such an important impact on the thriving Leeds culinary scene. It’s important to Nell that her tours help support the local economy and promote sustainable living. Her tours are designed to support independent restaurants and local suppliers, whilst making sure that you eat some really good food and come away with lots of new foodie knowledge.

When she’s not guiding you around her city and feeding you a tonne of food, Nell loves to travel and write, and spends most of her spare time working on her travel blog.
