During the three-hour class, guests will learn how to find the correct ring size, measure and cut silver, solder, shape and polish each piece, all with expert guidance throughout. Texturing hammers are also used to add distinctive finishes, giving every ring its own character and making each set feel personal and unique. It is proper hands-on stuff, in the best possible way.

Hosted in a small group setting in Pocklington, the experience is designed to feel friendly, calm and accessible, with plenty of demonstrations and time to ask questions along the way. All tools and materials are provided, including enough silver to create up to three stacking rings, so guests can simply turn up ready to get stuck in.

  • All materials are included
  • Maximum group size is 6 people
  • Unfortunately due to the Pocklington Jewellery Studio being on the first floor of Tori’s shop it is not accessible. There is a step up into the shop area and then a flight of stairs to access the studio.

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.

Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.

Tori Foster - Jewellery Making Workshops

Tori Foster brings creativity, craftsmanship and a genuine love of making to every jewellery workshop she runs in Pocklington, East Yorkshire. Her journey began in childhood, learning to sew with her granny, before a fascination with fabric jewellery sparked a path that eventually led her into the world of silversmithing. After discovering metal clay on an intensive course at London Jewellery School, she was completely hooked, and has been honing her skills ever since.

Since then, Tori has completed the Diploma in Silver Jewellery at London Jewellery School, along with the Diploma in Fine Jewellery and Advanced Jewellery Diploma through Jewellers Academy. She is passionate about continually developing her craft, especially when it comes to new stone-setting techniques, textures and design ideas. Her jewellery often takes inspiration from celestial details, natural forms and organic surfaces, with stars, twinkles, leaves, icicles and weathered stone all finding their way into her work.

From her studio in Pocklington, Tori creates thoughtful pieces designed to be treasured for years to come, whether given as a meaningful gift or kept as a future heirloom. Just as importantly, she loves sharing her skills with others through her beginner-friendly jewellery making classes. Guests can expect a warm, encouraging atmosphere and the satisfaction of creating something beautiful with their own hands, then heading home wearing a piece they have made themselves.
