A Stand Up Paddle Boarding Experience is a fantastic gift for all young people (aged 14+ we also have a group paddle boarding experience for 4 people which children aged 10 and older can enjoy with an adult ) and adults of all abilities.

Your Stand Up Paddle Boarding experience will take place on the beautiful lake at Ripley Castle near Harrogate and Ripon.

After some fun introductions and warm ups on the bank, you will be equipped with a paddle, leash, and of course the all important Paddle Board. It’s then onto the water and time for some serious fun! You will start off paddling in a simple kneeling position as this is a great way for you to become one with your board and paddle!

Once you’ve mastered this technique you’re ready to stand up and enjoy the full Paddle Boarding experience! As well as making a journey around the impressive lake, taking in the sights of Ripley Castle, you will take part in challenges which could include: Paddle Board gymnastics, races, water polo and many more fun games – it’s safe to say, keeping dry is not an option!

From getting kitted up, warm ups on the land, and all the time on the water, the whole experience lasts 3 hours. You will be provided with all the technical and safety kit needed for an immensely enjoyable Stand Up Paddle Boarding experience.
