Whether you’re a complete beginner or are returning to improve your aim, the fully trained instructors at Live for Today will be with you throughout your archery experience to hand out advice as well as arrows.
During your archery activity you’ll gain a great understanding of your very own bow and arrows, and will learn fun facts about this increasingly popular sport.
You’ll take part in a whole host of fun archery based games and challenges. Will you be able to keep your eye on the prize to shoot the apple off Susie’s head at the end of your activity? FYI – Susie is the Live for Today office mannequin!!

Archery at Ripley Castle is run by the team at Live For Today. Live for Today are one of the fastest growing outdoor activity companies in the UK. They provide exciting opportunities to get outdoors and enjoy a huge variety of activities at two locations in Yorkshire: Hazlewood Castle near York and Leeds and Ripley Castle near Harrogate.
Marc, Dan and Geoff run the company and between them have created a whole range of amazing, fun challenging and unusual activities. Each one of them has a huge lust for life and doing things differently. They test your boundaries whilst having 100% fun at the same time.
Live for Today provide adventurous escapes to a wide range of customers. They place their value in creating a positive experience with excellent customer service.
We offer a range of activities from the team at Live for Today. These include high-ropes courses, axe throwing and quad biking. These activities make excellent choices for corporate days, stag and hen parties, grown up times and children’s fun.
The experience takes place in the stunning grounds of Ripley Castle, Ripley Castle, Harrogate. HG3 3AY. Accessible from Harrogate and Leeds.
The length of this session is approximately 1 hour.
All of our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against any of our listed experiences. The recipient may exchange their voucher if they don't like the experience they have been bought. Just see our FAQs for details.
The minimum age for this activity is 8 years old.
Adults are aged 16+.
Please note that you may be on a session with other people depending on your group size. Minimum group size for archery is 4 people. Maximum group size is 12 people.
The cost for archery is £30 per person.
