About this experience
Discover the relaxing craft of natural candle making in this hands-on workshop, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of aromatherapy, fragrance blending and sustainable candle production while creating three beautiful jar candles to take home.

With a maximum of ten people per session, you’ll enjoy two hours in a welcoming, creative environment alongside other like-minded makers.

Your experience begins with a complimentary herbal tea before you’re introduced to a wide range of essential oils, their traditional aromatic properties and the basics of creating balanced fragrance blends. Once you’ve perfected three scents you love, your tutor will guide you through every stage of the candle-making process.

You’ll learn how to prepare your containers, position the wick using an adhesive-free method, blend fragrance into the wax and pour your candles for a smooth finish and long-lasting performance.

The workshop uses vegan coconut and rapeseed wax, natural cotton wicks and high-quality essential oils, giving you beautifully crafted candles that are perfect for enjoying yourself or giving as thoughtful gifts.

All ingredients and equipment are provided. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase products at exclusive workshop prices, along with a discount code for future workshops and online purchases.

The recipes shared during the workshop are intended for personal use and are ideal if you’d like to continue candle making as a hobby. If you’re interested in producing candles commercially, separate business courses covering compliance, stability testing and CLP requirements are available.

For security, the venue remains locked during workshops. Your tutor will welcome guests from 30 minutes before the session begins. After refreshments have been served and the workshop starts, the doors will be locked. Unfortunately, anyone arriving more than 15 minutes after the start time cannot be accommodated and will be treated as a no-show.
