A treat for yourself, the perfect gift for family or friends or an excellent retirement present! Spend a day learning the ancient art of stick making with Roger from Bramhope Sticks and make a unique walking stick of your choice to take home with you.
What to expect:
You’ll get coffee on arrival and time to discuss what you’d like to get out of the course. After that it’s into the workshop to familiarise yourself with the workshop, tools and stick components which will enable you to design your preferred choice of stick.
All components will be prepared ready for assembly, including straightening of stick, making the handle and joint ready for glueing. After a busy morning you’ll break for lunch. Then it’s back into workshop to polish, lacquer, finish and fix ferrel.
The price includes expert tuition, all materials, morning coffee and biscuits, a delicious homemade lunch, drinks throughout the day and tea and cake in afternoon!

He runs the experience from his home workshop in North Rigton near Leeds.

The stick making course will take place at Roger's workshop in North Rigton near Leeds
The course will start at 9.30am and end at approximately 3.30pm.

Minimum age for the stick making course is 14.
Maximum group size is 3.
The One Day Stick Making Course costs £100 per person including all morning coffee and biscuits, a delicious home-made lunch and tea and cake in the afternoon.
