This Lake Windermere helicopter flight is a breathtaking way to see one of the UK’s most spectacular landscapes from a completely different perspective.

Taking off from a departure site set in rolling countryside, guests will head west towards Newby Bridge at the southern end of Lake Windermere. From the air, the scenery begins to unfold in properly cinematic fashion, with lake, woodland, fells and countryside stretching out below.

The flight then turns north towards historic Belle Isle, passing Storrs Hall and the marina before reaching Bowness-on-Windermere, one of the Lake District’s best-loved lakeside towns. As the helicopter continues north, guests can take in sweeping panoramic views towards the Furness Fells before flying on towards Ambleside at the northern end of Windermere.

With incredible views in every direction, this is a memorable gift experience for walkers, photographers, adventure seekers or anyone who loves the Lake District.
