This small-group experience gives guests the chance to explore Liverpool with either Pete Hooton or Keith Mullin from The Farm, or Brian “Nasher” Nash from Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Rather than following the usual tourist trail, they will hear first-hand stories from the people who lived through one of the city’s most exciting musical eras.
Over 2.5 hours, guests will wander through the streets, venues and creative corners that helped shape Liverpool’s sound, from gig venues and recording studios to pubs, hangouts and rehearsal spaces. Along the way, they will discover places connected to Probe Records, Echo and the Bunnymen, Teardrop Explodes, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, The Farm and the wider Liverpool music scene of the 1970s, 80s and beyond.
With only 12 people on each tour, there is plenty of time to chat, ask questions and hear the sort of stories that do not make it onto blue plaques. Think music history, insider gossip, personal memories and a proper sense of what Liverpool felt like when these bands were making waves.

Anything I should know?
This experience is available most Saturdays at 11am or 2pm (April – October), subject to availability.
How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.
Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.
How will it arrive? Our eco-friendly voucher boxes are available for £3.98 and will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. PDF e-vouchers are FREE and emailed shortly after ordering.
