£120 Per Person Including Lunch

Bank Woods near Harrogate
Full Day

The day is a powerful blend of Nature Connection, Yoga and wholesome plant-based food. It takes place near to the Spring Equinox, a time of balance and wonderful energy, as nature shifts into the lighter warmer months.

Be embraced by Nature in the glorious Ancient Woodlands at Bank Woods near Harrogate. You will enjoy as much time as possible outside, with the upstairs studio at the barn as an alternative depending on the weather.

To begin … Come and reconnect with your body as we move with an energising yoga flow to start our morning, setting our intentions for the day.

Next, connect more deeply with Nature, in a gentle Natural Mindfulness Wellbeing walk in the Ancient Woodland.

Return to base for a wonderful hot lunch, followed by a guided meditation around the fire pit – Sitting in the fire circle watching the flames glow we will journey through a guided Sankalpa meditation, bringing our intentions to the forefront to achieve mindfulness and contentment.

Enjoy a session of nature-based rural crafts, making a natural candle and your own herbal tea blend  to take home.

And finally, finish the day with restorative yoga. Release your mind and body of tension as you nurture the body in relaxing postures, with the use of bolsters, blankets and essential oils, bringing the nervous system into a state of healing.

Leave the woods feeling wonderful, taking home a gift bag of self-care treats for you to enjoy.

Make it Wild was started 12 years as a family project by the Neave family – Helen, Christopher and their three children. Becoming more aware of the negative impact humans were having on the planet the family wanted to create more wild spaces to encourage biodiversity and allow nature to flourish.

“We have started this project to encourage a greater knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the natural world. We want people to share in the beauty of the wild spaces we’re creating.”

Make it Wild’s mission statement is

“It’s not our aim to protect nature, it’s our purpose.”
