Spend an hour with the guys at Spirit of Yorkshire distillery and you will experience the passion and enthusiasm that goes into every drop produced here.

The distillery’s expert guides will tell you all about this age-old, hands-on process that is part science, part patience and part instinct. And you’ll round off the tour with a chance to try some of the Maturing Malt.

An up close and detailed description of the distilling process alongside some of the largest copper pot stills in England

What you need to know

What will I get? You will receive a voucher to redeem against a One Hour Yorkshire Whisky Distillery Tour and Tasting at Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery in Hunmanby on the Yorkshire Coast.

Anything I should know? The tour takes place in a working distillery therefore sensible footwear must be worn.
One hour introductory tours run Monday – Saturday 11am, 1pm and 3pm and Sundays 11am. (Subject to availability). You will be in a group with other people.

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.

Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.

How will it arrive? Our eco-friendly voucher boxes are available for £4.50 and will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. PDF e-vouchers are FREE and emailed shortly after ordering.

The One Hour Yorkshire Whisky Distillery Tour and Tasting is brought to you by Spirit of Yorkshire, a fledgling Whisky distillery in the Yorkshire Wolds. The company will be the first to produce a single malt whisky in Yorkshire and are passionate about using locally and sustainably produced ingredients. All the barley and spring water used is grown and sourced nearby on the family farm.

We’re obsessed with distilling, from grain to glass. Our instinctive approach is all about taking the best of tradition and applying new thinking. We didn’t set out to just replicate Scotch, but to create a whisky that is filled with our own unique spirit and that of our local area.

An excellent Yorkshire Afternoon Tea is also available at the distillery.
