A delightful package for those wanting a full day’s still-life drawing and painting experience in a fully equipped art studio, in the beautiful market town of Penistone, on the edge of the stunning Peak District National Park.

You will be warmly welcomed by your hosts Paul and Sophie when you arrive at Lyndene Art Studio, starting the day with tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes. Just make sure you leave some room for Sophie’s delicious freshly cooked lunch and desert!

In order to create your own masterpieces, Paul will introduce and guide you through a number of still life drawing and painting techniques. You will explore a range of drawing and painting mediums within the studio using specialist brushes, mark-making tools, pencils and papers. Full demonstrations and support will be given throughout the day, and there will be plenty of time to complete a selection of artwork to take home.

Still Life Drawing and Painting by Lyndene Art Studio

The Still Life Drawing and Painting Experience at Lyndene Art Studio is run by Paul and Sophie Robinson. Inspired by their surroundings and photography, Paul often creates his own artwork using mainly watercolour, oil and mixed media. He has exhibited his own work in Hong Kong, Dubai and throughout the UK. As well as creating his own artwork, Paul is passionate about teaching art. He has been an art educator for over 30 years and has designed and delivered courses and workshops to adults and children, all over the world.

The workshops at Lyndene Art Studio are set in a relaxed atmosphere, where everyone is made to feel very welcome. People regularly attend a course whilst combining a visit to the beautiful Peak District National Park.

This course is suitable for adult beginners and artists with some prior experience.

All materials are provided

The minimum age is 14 (ages 14 – 18, must be accompanied by an adult).

Refreshments will be available on arrival and lunch will be provided.

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.
