On this craft cider experience you will start with a guided walk of the five acre orchard learning about the varieties of apples used in the cider making process.
Then head over to the cidery where you’ll go behind the scenes and find out about the process involved in producing award winning ciders. From pressing the apples to fermentation and bottling with some interesting insight from Thornborough’s master cider producers.
Finish off the experience with a tasting of at least four of the ciders. These typically include some single variety ciders, some straight from the tanks and some of the award winning blends.
The orchard is a five minute walk from the cidery and unfortunately isn’t wheelchair accessible. However, there is a beautiful garden to relax in for anyone who can’t make it to the orchard.

What will I get? You will receive a voucher to redeem against any of the future Yorkshire Cider Tour and Tasting Experience near Ripon.

Experience includes walk round the orchard, so appropriate footwear and clothing recommended.

The orchard is about 5 minutes walk from the cider shed and, while the cidery is wheelchair friendly, unfortunately the orchard isn’t… but there’s a beautiful garden to relax in for anyone that can’t make it up to the orchard.
How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.
Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.
How will it arrive? Our eco-friendly voucher boxes are available for £4.50 and will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. PDF e-vouchers are FREE and emailed shortly after ordering.
