If you love good food, gorgeous presentation and a bit of natter while you create, Catherine’s Build Your Own Grazing Platter workshop in Rainton is your new happy place. Designed for small groups (minimum of four, maximum of eight), this hands-on foodie experience is perfect for friends, foodies, or anyone who gets a buzz out of building beautiful things… that you can eat.

Held in a cosy setting in the heart of North Yorkshire, the workshop teaches you how to assemble an impressive grazing platter that tastes as good as it looks. Think seasonal ingredients, thoughtful pairings, and the kind of Instagram-worthy spread that’ll make you the star of your next gathering.

Want to make a proper occasion of it? If you’ve got a gang of eight, Catherine can bring the platter workshop to a venue of your choice – ideal for hen dos, birthdays or get-togethers that need a little extra flavour.

But the platter workshop is just the beginning. Catherine also runs a tempting selection of seasonal and sweet-toothed experiences including:

  • Crackers, Grissini & Dips – all the crunch and none of the faff

  • Macaron Making – dainty, delicious and deceptively tricky (but she’ll make it easy!)

What you need to know

What will I get? You will receive a voucher to redeem against any of the future Create Your Own Grazing Platter Experience in North Yorkshire.

Anything I should know?

  • Maximum of 8 people (minimum of 4).
  • Please note, no Allergies can be catered for due to the group setting.
  • Your platters are created on biodegradable palm leaf plates which you will take home.
  • The platter size is 25cm square, which is enough for one as a (large) meal or two small plates or four for aperitivo.
  • All ingredients are included in the workshop price.
  • You may swap to one of Catherine’s other workshops if you wish.

How long do I have to book? You’ll have a total of 12 months from the date of purchase – 6 months to activate your voucher code, and 6 months from activation to book your chosen experience.

Can I exchange it? All of our vouchers are fully flexible. The recipient may swap to another experience if they don’t want the one that has been suggested.

How will it arrive? Our eco-friendly voucher boxes are available for £4.50 and will be sent via Royal Mail first class post. PDF e-vouchers are FREE and emailed shortly after ordering.

Create Your Own Grazing Platter Experience in North Yorkshire is run by Catherine at Peach Tree Workshops. Peach Tree Workshops was born out of a love for great food, good company and the simple joy of eating outdoors—whatever the weather. From lazy summer evenings at open-air concerts to muddy walks and pitch-side snacks, this team believes there’s never a bad time for a picnic.

Founder Catherine turned her all-year-round alfresco obsession into a business with a little encouragement from friends and family, and she hasn’t looked back since. As well as creating beautifully styled picnic set-ups, she now shares her secrets in hands-on workshops, teaching others how to craft show-stopping platters and graze boards that taste every bit as good as they look.

If you’re a foodie with a flair for presentation (or want to learn the tricks), you’re in very safe hands.
