York Food Tasting Tour
The York Food Tasting Tour is organised by Kay Atkinson and her company Yorkshire Appetite.
Kay loves nothing more than wandering around a new place soaking up the sounds and smells, finding out about history and culture and getting a feel for a place and finally, trying local foods and drinks. Hence her reason for starting Yorkshire Appetite.
Kay also runs a Harrogate Food Tour & Tasting and a vegan version of the food tour for non meat eaters – Vegan Food Tour of Harrogate. Her group tours are available for 5 people or more and are the perfect way to celebrate a special event or landmark birthday – Artisan Food Tour of Otley, Afternoon Tea Tour with a little extra Harrogate style
This is multi stop tour taking in five fantastic independent eateries in York.
This tour and tasting takes approximately 3.5 hours.
All of our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against any of our listed experiences. The recipient may exchange their voucher if they don't like the experience they have been bought. Just see our FAQs for details.
The tours are held rain, shine, or snow. In the event of inclement weather, you will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour.
For anyone with a dietary restriction – vegetarian, gluten free, allergy etc. a suitable alternative can be arranged with plenty of advance notice.
Unfortunately the tour is not accessible for wheelchair users.
The York Food Tasting Tour costs £60 per person.
