One Hour Pottery Wheel Throwing Experience in West Yorkshire

Fancy a quick spin on the pottery wheel? This one-hour experience at Jasmine Studios in Wakefield is the perfect taster session for clay-curious creatives. You’ll start with a demonstration from one of Jasmine’s expert potters before jumping on the wheel to throw your very own pot – with plenty of guidance and encouragement along the way. Once you’ve shaped your piece, you’ll decorate it using colourful slips (aka liquid clay paint), giving your creation its own unique style.

Your masterpiece will then be dried, bisque fired, glazed with a clear finish, and fired again – ready for collection in around three weeks. No experience needed, just a willingness to get a little mucky and a lot creative.
