Amy launched Well-being with Amy in the summer of 2020, and it quickly became the joyful highlight of her lockdown life. What began with a single, transformative essential-oil blend – one that “takes the edge off” fraught emotions – soon grew into a passion for bringing natural, organic goodness into daily routines. As a busy Mum teetering on burnout, Amy discovered firsthand how simple, plant-powered rituals can restore calm, clarity and a genuine sense of wellbeing.
Before founding her own venture, Amy enjoyed a successful career in Food Marketing, specialising in Consumer Behaviour. Though that discipline taught her the science behind choice and desire, by her early thirties she found herself working long hours and missing out on life’s simple pleasures. Thanks to years of disciplined saving, she was able to trade her day-job for her dream: studying holistic therapies at college and investing her hard-earned funds into creating a beauty and wellness sanctuary of her own.
Today, Amy combines her marketing savvy with her love of beauty to offer Uniquely Local guests an uplifting, hands-on experience. Whether you’re enjoying an in-person treatment, or simply discovering the benefits of facial yoga, Amy’s warm professionalism and genuine passion will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired and ready to embrace your own wellbeing journey.
