A fun and interactive way to discover the importance that gut health plays in our overall wellbeing. You will first learn about the benefits of eating different kinds of vegetables & other plants, then join in making a couple of very simple dishes – the way of serving up food Emily feels most passionate about.

Emily then helps you understand more about what the gut microbiota is and what our amazing bacteria can do. She goes on to show you how to easily prepare some fermented foods from scratch, giving you the knowledge to  take away, along with your filled up jars.

Inside our bodies there is a whole universe of forty trillion bacteria busy at work. They transform the food we eat and are now understood to have a huge impact on our health in several ways. Fermented foods play a crucial role in feeding our gut microbiota so its great to have the knowledge to nurture and manipulate this through the food we eat.
