Join conceptual jewellery maker Becca Macdonald on this full day jewellery making experience where you will learn to design and make jewellery with silver clay. The course will take place in Haworth – heart of Yorkshire’s Brontë country – where Becca will introduce you to the magic of silver clay, a malleable substance which transforms into solid silver upon firing.
You will be given enough materials to make a pendant and pair of earrings. This course is perfect for beginners and you will take home your unique silver creations on the day.
What to expect:
You will spend the morning mark making and developing designs for your jewellery. Once you have settled upon a design you will be shown how to create your design in precious silver clay.
Following a delicious, locally sourced lunch provided by Haworth’s famous Cobbles and Clay cafe you will torch fire your creations and watch the transformation from clay to silver…magical!
The final part of the day will be spent refining and polishing your pieces before you leave wearing your unique creations.

Silver Clay Jewellery Workshop in Yorkshire
The Silver Clay Jewellery Workshop in Yorkshire is run by conceptual jewellery maker Becca Macdonald.
Becca is a self -taught jeweller and her work is influenced by her background in textiles which she studied at Chelsea College of Arts. She launched her jewellery business in 2o18 has been recognised by The National Association of Jewellers as an IJL KickStart winner and chosen as a finalist in The Professional Jeweller Awards for Young Jewellery Designer of the Year.
Silver Clay Jewellery Workshops take place in Haworth, West Yorkshire
The workshops are full days with a break for lunch.
