A fantastic gift for craft beer lovers and anyone wanting to sample some of Brew York’s beers and find out a bit more about their brewing process. This two hour beer and food tour with tasting experience takes place at Brew York on Walmgate, with food provided by Yuzu Street Food!
The experience starts with a tour of the brewery, where you will learn a bit about the history of Brew York, the history of beer and the brewing process, This will be followed by a bite to eat from Yuzu, with their amazing Asian street food.
On the tour, you’ll get to try 4 of Brew York’s beers, followed by a bao bun and some gyoza from Yuzu!

The Beer and Food Tour and Tasting Experience at Brew York is delivered in partnership with Yuzu Street Food at Brew York’s premises on Walmgate in York.
Brew York was founded in 2016 by friends Wayne Smith and Lee Grabham. The two met at a mutual friend’s stag do and began home-brewing together after sharing their love and passion for craft beer, and Brew York was born not long after. Starting in 2016, as many other craft breweries were beginning their journey, creating Brew York was the realisation of a long-lived dream to build a brewery in York’s bustling centre with a popular on-site Tap Room, creating a destination where it felt welcoming and inviting to enjoy the beer (and other drinks) right next to the tanks they were brewed in.
The experience will take place at t Brew York on Walmgate in York city centre.
The tour and tasting lasts approximately 2 hours.
All of our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against any of our listed experiences. The recipient may exchange their voucher if they don't like the experience they have been bought. Just see our FAQs for details.
Brewery tours currently run every Friday at 15:30 and 17:30 and every Saturday at 15:30 and 17:30.
This experience takes place at a fully working brewery and in the pursuit of both your and the safety of the staff if you arrive and are deemed intoxicated you will be refused entry, no refund will be given in this matter. If you cause or if the staff deem you could potentially cause a safety hazard during the tour you will be ejected immediately without a refund. No Stag/Hen dos.
