A must do experience for anyone wanting to ‘get off auto’ and get to grips with the basics of photography. Learn how to get the most out of your camera by learning how to use Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, Focus Areas and Composition!
Start the day at Sheffield botanical gardens to learn some theory and before heading into the city centre to practice.
Unleash the photographer in you and come home with fabulous images that you will want to show your friends and family!
This workshop contains a lot of fantastic information that you may not be able to retain so you’ll get a personal copy of all the course notes to keep and take home with you. Perfect for referring to at a later date.

The Beginners Photography Workshop in Sheffield is run by Rachel Sinclair of Safari Sinclair Photography Workshops.
Rachel has been teaching photography to people from all walks of life for over 10 years, leading groups and personalised 1:1’s both in the UK and internationally. She’s successfully helped complete beginners right through to professional photographers wanting to improve their skills.
Rachel also runs a Wildlife Photography Workshop at Yorkshire Wildlife Park and a Wildlife Photography Experience at Chester Zoo.
Rachel is the highest google rated photography tutor in Sheffield and has led photo safaris in Africa.
The photography workshop will take place in Sheffield.
This is a 4 hour workshop starting at 10am and finishing at 2pm.
All of our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against any of our listed experiences. The recipient may exchange their voucher if they don't like the experience they have been bought. Just see our FAQs for details.
This experience is available on Monday to Saturday. FREE camera hire available.
Under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult. 1 year to redeem voucher. No exchanges but if the buyer has to cancel (before 48 hours) for unforeseen circumstances they may book on the next available date. If the weather is very bad, the experience may be cancelled. Participants can choose the next available date that suits them.
The one to one Beginners Photography Workshop costs from £150 (Mon - Fri) or £200 (Saturday) per person.
