Most people know that the first anniversary is paper and the second cotton but did you know that the 65th is blue sapphire? Or that we don’t get a wine anniversary until the 85th year of marriage?! It’s a lovely idea to try and match an anniversary gift to the appropriate year and it does show the level of thought that’s gone into the gift buying.
