Gift experiences for anniversary presents

Most people know that the first anniversary is paper and the second cotton but did you know that the 65th is blue sapphire? Or that we don’t get a wine anniversary until the 85th year of marriage?! It’s a lovely idea to try and match an anniversary gift to the appropriate year and it does show the level of thought that’s gone into the gift buying. So to help you choose an alternative anniversary gift we’ve put together a list of traditional anniversary gifts with some links to quirky Uniquely Local experiences to suit the anniversary year.

NB: The links for some years are very tenuous and some we just couldn’t match yet. They are meant to be a bit tongue in cheek but we do have a wide range of excellent experience gifts suitable for anniversaries
